Kate and Robert Rose opened the La Source in March 2019, like most people who visit brocantes where you can’t see the wood for the trees and the prices are repelent, decided to do something different. The old hair salon at Saint-Martin-l’Ars has been completely rebuilt over two floors, but not over restored keeping it simple and authentic.
Although called a brocante, there is in fair measure beautifully restored furniture and decoration for all tastes. We buy furniture in a condition that most people would refuse, we treat them against woodworm, restore them, remake legs, drawers etc… where necessary, adding value and character.
We also have mirrors in gilt, wood and metal, tableware, vintage Le Creuset pots and pans, prints, pictures and lithos.
Our exterior garden section has a wide range of tables and chairs, flowers pots and unusual items to decorate your exterior with.
We restore to a professional standard all types of furniture, including French Polishing, paint effects etc…
